FOOTY SEVENS - CURRENT COVID-19 PLAYER RULES AND PROTOCOL

Latest Update: September 22nd

League Status: League play and scrimmages will be allowed are allowed Friday, July 17th (Ottawa) and hopefully by early July 31st (Brampton) with a number of restrictions. Please familiarize yourself with our return policies below. The following rules and protocols currently apply to anyone playing in any Footy Sevens socially distanced program or with any organisation renting any facility from Footy Sevens for approved practices.

Update Regarding New Provincial Policiies: From the official Ontario website

The new limits will not apply to events or gatherings held in staffed businesses and facilities, such as bars, restaurants, cinemas, convention centres or banquet halls, gyms, and recreational sporting or performing art events. Existing rules, including public health and workplace safety measures, for these businesses and facilities continue to be in effect.

In order to participate in any program at the field, players must have read our rules and protocols thoroughly. We ask that Team Captains take a leadership role in this task by making sure all players have confirmed they have read the rules/protocols prior to arriving at the facilities.

Safety of our employees and league members remains our primary concern.  If safety protocols are not being followed we reserve the right to close down the facility immediately.

Accordingly, full compliance with ALL rules and protocols is mandatory for all players and compliance will be monitored.  Players or groups who do not comply with the protocols will face disciplinary action and will be asked to leave the facility.  There will be no other warnings.
